Last Updated: April 30, 2026
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. OPEN TO LEGAL RESIDENTS OF CANADA WHO HAVE REACHED THE AGE OF MAJORITY IN THEIR PROVINCE OR TERRITORY OF RESIDENCE. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW.
The Lodavo Weekly Savings Contest (the "Contest") is sponsored by Lodavo Inc. (the "Sponsor"), located at 4 Place Ville Marie, Suite 300, Montreal, QC H3B 2E7, Canada.
The Contest begins on April 30, 2026 (the "Start Date") and continues through successive weekly periods (each a "Weekly Period"). Each Weekly Period begins at 8:00 p.m. Eastern Time ("ET") on Sunday and ends immediately prior to 8:00 p.m. ET the following Sunday, at which time the next Weekly Period begins. The first Weekly Period will begin at 8:00 p.m. ET on Sunday, May 3, 2026. The Sponsor reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Contest at any time, for any reason, subject to applicable law.
The Contest is open to legal residents of Canada who have reached the age of majority in their province or territory of residence at the time of entry. Employees, officers, and directors of Lodavo Inc., and their immediate family members (spouse, parent, child, sibling, and their respective spouses) and persons living in the same household as such persons, whether or not related, are not eligible to participate.
App-based participants must maintain a Lodavo account in good standing. An account is not in good standing if it has been suspended or flagged for fraudulent activity, abuse, or violation of the Sponsor's Terms and Conditions. Mail-in participants satisfy this requirement through the contact information provided on their entry. Eligibility requirements must be satisfied at the time of entry, at the time of winner selection, and at the time of prize award.
The maximum number of entries per person per Weekly Period is one thousand (1,000), regardless of entry method. Only one Lodavo account per person is permitted.
(a) Savings-Based Entries. Link one or more valid Canadian savings or chequing accounts through the App using the Plaid financial data service. Receive 1 entry for every $25 CAD in your total linked account balance(s), calculated based on a balance snapshot taken by the Sponsor at 8:00 p.m. ET on the Sunday on which each Weekly Period begins. Balances are rounded down to the nearest $25 increment.
(b) Promotional Code Entries. The Sponsor may, from time to time, offer promotional codes that award bonus entries. Each promotional code may have its own eligibility criteria, entry limits, and timing requirements, which will be specified in the App or in promotional materials.
(c) Referral Entries. Earn entries when a person you refer uses your unique referral link or code, downloads the App, completes account registration, and links a valid bank account — all within 30 days. The referred user also earns entries. Referrals must be new Lodavo users who meet all eligibility requirements. Self-referral is prohibited. The applicable entry amount for each party is displayed in the App at the time of referral.
(d) Social Media Entries. Earn entries per platform for following the Sponsor's official accounts on Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, or other platforms specified in the App. The applicable entry amount is displayed in the App. Verification is completed through in-app instructions.
(e) In-App Bonus Entries. The Sponsor may offer bonus entries for completing in-app activities, such as financial literacy modules, educational content, or other features designated in the App. Details and entry amounts will be provided in the App.
(f) Partner Offer Entries. Earn entries by enrolling in or signing up for third-party products or services through promotional offers presented in the App. The Sponsor is not responsible for any third-party products or services. Partner offer entries are optional and not required to participate in the Contest; an alternative method of participation offering equivalent chances of winning is available (see Section 4.2).
(g) Discretionary Bonus Entries. The Sponsor may, at its sole discretion, award bonus entries to participants for reasons including but not limited to customer service resolution, technical error compensation, or recognition of participant engagement. Discretionary bonus entries are not guaranteed and are awarded on a case-by-case basis.
All entries, regardless of method, are applied to the Weekly Period in which they are earned or verified by the Sponsor's systems.
To enter without using the App or linking a bank account, hand-print or legibly handwrite the following on a single sheet of 8.5" x 11" unlined white paper: your full legal name, complete mailing address (including postal code), telephone number (including area code), email address, date of birth, and a handwritten essay of at least 50 words on the topic: "How would you use savings to improve your financial future?"
Mail your entry in a stamped envelope to:
Lodavo Weekly Savings Contest
4 Place Ville Marie, Suite 300
Montreal, QC H3B 2E7
Limit one thousand (1,000) mail-in entries per person per Weekly Period. Each mail-in entry must be mailed in a separate stamped envelope and must include the required handwritten text. Multiple entries in a single envelope will not be accepted. Each qualifying mail-in submission will receive ten (10) entries into the draw for the Weekly Period during which it is received. Mail-in entries must be received (not merely postmarked) by the Sponsor no later than 8:00 p.m. ET on the Sunday of that Weekly Period to be included in that period's draw; entries received after that time will be applied to the following Weekly Period.
Repetitive, incomplete, or erroneous entries will be void. Mechanically reproduced or automated entries are not permitted. All entries become the property of the Sponsor and will not be returned. The Sponsor is not responsible for late, lost, misdirected, illegible, incomplete, or postage-due mail.
Each entry consists of seven (7) numbers from 0 to 99, inclusive. No duplicate numbers are permitted on a single entry (e.g., you cannot select "5" twice on the same entry). You may use the same number(s) across multiple entries.
App users may manually select valid numbers for each entry via the App, including selecting the same seven-number combination for multiple entries if they wish. When numbers are randomly assigned — whether through auto-generation in the App (for entries whose numbers were not manually selected before the deadline) or by the Sponsor for postal entries — the Sponsor's systems will ensure that each auto-generated combination is unique among that entrant's entries for the same Weekly Period.
The following activities are strictly prohibited and will result in disqualification:
Any attempt to deliberately damage or compromise the legitimate operation of the Contest may constitute a violation of criminal and civil laws. The Sponsor reserves the right to seek remedies and damages to the fullest extent permitted by law, including criminal prosecution. Violators will be disqualified and may be permanently banned from future contests and promotions.
For each Weekly Period, seven (7) winning numbers (each an integer from 0 to 99) are randomly selected using a cryptographically secure random number generator ("RNG") prior to the opening of the number-selection window described in Section 4.3, and are committed via a public SHA-256 cryptographic hash that is published in the App and at www.lodavo.ca/contest-results before any entrant may submit number selections for that Weekly Period. One winning number is then revealed each day from Monday through Sunday at 8:00 p.m. ET. All seven winning numbers within a single Weekly Period will be unique (no repeats).
The reveal salt used to generate the commitment hash will be published in the App and at www.lodavo.ca/contest-results after the seventh winning number is revealed, allowing any person to independently verify that the seven winning numbers match the hash published before the pick window opened and were not altered after entries were submitted. An audit log of each draw — including timestamps, commitment hashes, reveal salts, and reveal events — will be maintained by the Sponsor and may be published for independent verification.
Winning numbers will be published in the App and at www.lodavo.ca/contest-results shortly after each daily reveal. The complete set of seven winning numbers for each Weekly Period will be published shortly after the Weekly Period concludes.
After all seven winning numbers for a Weekly Period have been drawn, the Sponsor will identify the entry or entries with the highest number of matches. A "match" occurs when a number on an entry corresponds to a winning number, regardless of order.
Each selected entrant is a potential winner only, pending verification and compliance with Sections 7 through 9.
One (1) Weekly Guaranteed Prize of $100 CAD will be awarded per Weekly Period to the selected entrant with the highest number of matches, subject to Section 7.2.
One (1) Jackpot Prize of $10,000 CAD will be awarded per Weekly Period if one or more entries match all seven (7) winning numbers (7/7 matches).
If multiple entries achieve a 7/7 match, all holders will be notified as selected entrants and must individually satisfy the requirements of Section 9. The Jackpot Prize will be divided equally among all persons who successfully complete the prize claim requirements, with each share rounded down to the nearest cent. If all selected entrants fail to satisfy the requirements, the Jackpot Prize will not be awarded for that Weekly Period, and the Weekly Guaranteed Prize will be awarded to a replacement winner selected pursuant to Section 10.
If the Jackpot Prize is awarded for a given Weekly Period, the Weekly Guaranteed Prize will not be awarded for that Weekly Period.
Approximate retail value: Weekly Guaranteed Prize — $100 CAD; Jackpot Prize — $10,000 CAD (or proportional share if split).
Odds of winning: The odds of winning the Weekly Guaranteed Prize depend on the total number of eligible entries received for the applicable Weekly Period and the number of entries held by each participant. The mathematical odds of any single entry matching all seven (7) winning numbers are approximately 1 in 16,007,560,800 (that is, 1 in the number of distinct seven-number combinations drawn from 0–99 without repetition). The overall odds of the Jackpot Prize being awarded in a given Weekly Period therefore depend on the total number of eligible entries received and the number of entries held by each participant.
Prizes will be distributed via electronic funds transfer (EFT) or Interac e-Transfer to the winner's designated Canadian bank account. Winners must provide valid Canadian banking information (institution number, transit number, and account number) or an email address for Interac e-Transfer after confirmation and completion of all claim requirements.
Prizes are non-transferable, non-substitutable, and have no cash redemption value other than as awarded. No prize substitution is permitted except that the Sponsor may substitute a prize of equal or greater value at its sole discretion. Winners are solely responsible for all applicable federal, provincial, territorial, and local taxes on prizes.
An individual may win in multiple Weekly Periods; there is no limit on the number of Weekly Periods in which a person may win.
Due to the nature and value of the Jackpot Prize, the Sponsor reserves the right, in addition to all verification rights set out in Section 9, to: (a) extend the verification period for a Jackpot selected entrant by up to sixty (60) additional calendar days beyond the Response Deadline; (b) conduct an internal integrity review of the applicable draw, including review of system logs, entry records, number-selection timestamps, random number generator audit records, and account activity; (c) require additional documentation from the selected entrant, including government-issued identification, proof of residency, and proof of account ownership; and (d) withhold, void, or disqualify the Jackpot Prize, in whole or in part, where the integrity review reveals evidence of fraud, tampering, unauthorized access, exploitation of a technical error or system vulnerability, collusion, or any other violation of these Official Rules. Where a Jackpot Prize is withheld, voided, or disqualified under this subsection, the alternate winner selection process described in Section 10 shall apply.
Selected entrants will be notified within two (2) business days after the conclusion of the applicable Weekly Period. App users will be notified via in-app notification, email, and/or push notification. Postal entrants will be contacted via telephone and/or email using the contact information provided on their mail-in entry.
The Sponsor is not responsible for failed, delayed, or misdirected notifications due to inaccurate contact information, spam filters, privacy settings, technical issues, or factors beyond the Sponsor's control.
Selected entrants must satisfy the prize claim requirements set out in Section 9 within the following timeframes (together, the "Response Deadline"), each measured from the time of notification:
Failure to satisfy any of these timeframes will result in disqualification and forfeiture of the prize. Any verification documentation that may be requested under Section 9(c) must be provided within the timeframe specified by the Sponsor at the time of the request.
To claim a prize, each selected entrant must complete the following before the Response Deadline:
(a) Skill-Testing Question. Correctly answer, without assistance of any kind (mechanical, electronic, or from others), a time-limited mathematical skill-testing question administered through the App (for App users) or via telephone or email (for postal entrants). The question will involve basic arithmetic operations applied to four numbers (none exceeding 10), following the standard order of operations. Example: "10 x 6 + 1 - 9 = ?" The entrant will have five (5) minutes from the time the question is displayed or communicated. App users will see a countdown timer. No calculators, reference materials, or external assistance of any kind are permitted. Only one attempt is permitted. An incorrect answer will result in disqualification and forfeiture of the prize. Disqualification under this subsection excludes all of that entrant's entries from the replacement winner selection process.
(b) Declaration and Release. Sign and return the Declaration and Release provided by the Sponsor before the Response Deadline. The Declaration and Release will confirm: compliance with these Official Rules and eligibility requirements; acceptance of the prize as awarded; release of the Sponsor, its directors, officers, employees, agents, representatives, successors, and assigns (the "Released Parties") from any and all liability, claims, or damages arising from participation in the Contest or the acceptance, use, or misuse of the prize; and consent to the Sponsor's use of the winner's first name, last initial, city and province of residence, photograph, image, video, likeness, biographical information, prize information, and statements about the Contest for publicity and marketing purposes in any media now known or hereafter developed, without further compensation, notice, or permission, except where prohibited by law.
(c) Verification. The Sponsor reserves the right to request proof of identity, age, residency, account ownership, linked account balances, or any other information necessary to verify eligibility and compliance with these Official Rules. Failure to provide requested information within a reasonable timeframe may result in disqualification.
(d) Banking Information. Provide valid Canadian banking information (institution number, transit number, and account number) for electronic funds transfer, or an email address for Interac e-Transfer, as requested by the Sponsor.
Failure to satisfy any of the above requirements before the Response Deadline will result in disqualification and forfeiture of the prize.
(e) Optional Promotional Participation. Winners may be invited to provide additional promotional materials — including video testimonials, written testimonials, and photographs — for use in the Sponsor's marketing and promotional activities. Participation is entirely voluntary and is not required for prize eligibility. Participating winners grant the Sponsor the rights described in Section 9(b) with respect to such materials.
If a selected entrant is disqualified, fails the skill-testing question, or otherwise forfeits the prize, the Sponsor will select an alternate winner from among the remaining eligible entries for that Weekly Period using the same process described in Section 6, excluding entries belonging to disqualified entrants.
Weekly Guaranteed Prize ($100 CAD): The Sponsor will continue selecting alternate winners in succession until an eligible winner is confirmed or all eligible entries for that Weekly Period have been exhausted. The Sponsor is not responsible for notification delivery failures, incomplete contact information, or missed deadlines.
Jackpot Prize ($10,000 CAD): If the only entries with 7/7 matches belong to disqualified entrants, or if no eligible winner can be confirmed, the Jackpot Prize will not be awarded for that Weekly Period. The Weekly Guaranteed Prize ($100 CAD) will then be awarded using the process described above, starting from the entries with the next-highest number of matches.
By participating, each entrant agrees to release and hold harmless the Released Parties from any and all liability, claims, or damages arising from participation in the Contest or the acceptance, use, or misuse of any prize, including without limitation personal injury, death, or property damage.
The Sponsor is not responsible for: lost, late, incomplete, illegible, misdirected, or postage-due mail; technical, hardware, software, or telecommunications failures of any kind; unauthorized human intervention; printing or other errors in Contest-related materials; or any other problems or errors of any kind, whether mechanical, human, electronic, or otherwise.
If the Contest cannot be run as planned due to technical failures, fraud, or other causes beyond the Sponsor's reasonable control that compromise the administration, security, or fairness of the Contest, the Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to modify, suspend, or terminate the Contest.
All decisions of the Sponsor regarding the Contest are final and binding and are not subject to appeal. The Sponsor's database is the official record of entries received. In the event of any discrepancy between these Official Rules and any Contest-related advertisements, App screens, emails, or other communications, these Official Rules shall prevail. If any provision of these Official Rules is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
Continued participation in the Contest after any modification to these Official Rules constitutes acceptance of such modifications. The current version of these Official Rules is available at www.lodavo.ca/contest-rules.
By entering the Contest, participants consent to the collection, use, disclosure, and storage of their personal information by the Sponsor for the purposes of Contest administration, including eligibility verification, entry processing, winner selection and notification, prize distribution, and advertising and promotional activities.
Personal information collected in connection with the Contest is also governed by the Sponsor's Privacy Policy, available at www.lodavo.ca/privacy-policy.
Participation in the Contest does not require participants to consent to receiving marketing or promotional communications from the Sponsor. Participants may voluntarily choose to receive or opt out of marketing communications at any time through their account settings or by following the unsubscribe instructions in any marketing email. The choice to receive or decline marketing communications will not affect Contest eligibility.
By submitting an entry, essay, testimonial, or other content in connection with the Contest, each participant grants the Sponsor a perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, and publish such content for any purpose related to the Contest or the Sponsor's business, in any media now known or hereafter developed. Participants represent and warrant that their submissions are original, do not infringe upon any third-party rights, and do not contain any illegal or inappropriate content.
These Official Rules are governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with the Contest shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Quebec.
By entering the Contest, each participant agrees to release, indemnify, and hold harmless the Sponsor, its parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies, and their respective directors, officers, employees, agents, and representatives (collectively, the "Released Parties") from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, costs, and expenses arising out of or related to: (a) the participant's entry or participation in the Contest; (b) the acceptance, use, or misuse of any prize; (c) any violation of these Official Rules; or (d) any violation of the rights of any third party.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall the Released Parties be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with the Contest or any prize, regardless of the form of action, whether in contract, tort, or otherwise. The Released Parties' total aggregate liability in connection with the Contest shall not exceed the value of the prize for the applicable Weekly Period.
This Contest is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Apple Inc., Google LLC, or their respective subsidiaries or affiliates. Apple Inc. and Google LLC bear no responsibility whatsoever in relation to the Contest, including without limitation any liability for prizes, prize claims, or any aspect of Contest operations. Any questions, complaints, or claims regarding the Contest should be directed to the Sponsor, not to Apple Inc. or Google LLC.
All third-party company names, logos, product names, and trademarks referenced in the App or in these Official Rules are the property of their respective owners. Their use does not imply endorsement, sponsorship, or affiliation with the Sponsor or the Contest unless explicitly stated. These Official Rules are available in English and French. The French version is available at www.lodavo.ca/fr/regles-du-concours. In the event of any discrepancy between the English and French versions, the version in the language chosen by the participant at the time of registration shall govern for that participant.
