In compliance with the Charter of the French Language in Quebec, a French version of this Privacy Policy is available at www.lodavo.ca/fr/politique-de-confidentialite. The English and French versions are equivalent.

We only collect data that helps us achieve the purpose set out in this Privacy Policy. We will not collect any additional data beyond the data listed below without notifying you first.
Data Collected Automatically:
When you visit and use our Site, we may automatically collect and store the following information:

- Hardware and software details;
- Clicked links; and
- Content viewed.
This data is collected for the purpose of improving our Site and offering tailored services to our users.
Data Collected in a Non-Automatic Way:

By joining our waitlist or otherwise providing your email address, you consent to receive occasional commercial electronic messages from Lodavo, including information about our products, promotions, and contests. 6. Who We Share Personal Data With

We may disclose user data to any member of our organization who reasonably needs access to user data to achieve the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy.
Third Parties:
We share user data with trusted third parties such as service providers, analytics providers like Google Analytics, advertising partners like Facebook for implementing pixels, and other software service providers that are integral to our services.
We share the following user data with third parties:
- Device and browser identifiers (e.g., IP address, cookies/advertising IDs), usage data (pages viewed, links clicked), and submitted user information (name, email) where applicable.
We may share user data with third parties for the following purposes:
- To analyze user behaviour and trends (analytics),
- To deliver targeted advertising and marketing communication (including implementing pixels), and
- To operate and improve our services (e.g., hosting, email delivery, customer support).

7. Technologies that Identify, Locate or Profile
We use technologies on the Site (e.g., cookies, advertising pixels, SDKs) that include functions allowing an individual to be identified, located, or profiled as defined under Québec’s private-sector privacy law. “Profiling” means collecting and using personal information to assess certain characteristics of a natural person, including that person’s preferences, interests, or behaviour. In Québec, these non-essential functions are disabled by default and are activated only with your express consent via our on-site “Cookie Settings” preference center. You can grant or withdraw consent at any time in that center.
8. Other Disclosures
We will not sell or share your data with other third parties, except in the following cases:
- If the law requires it;
- If it is required for any legal proceeding;
- To prove or protect our legal rights; and
- As part of a business transaction, where communication is necessary to conclude the transaction, subject to a written agreement requiring the recipient to use the information only to conclude the transaction, not to communicate it except as authorized by law, to protect its confidentiality, and to destroy it if the transaction is not completed; and, after the transaction, to notify individuals within a reasonable time that the acquirer now holds their personal information.
9. Data Retention, Destruction and Governance
We retain personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy or to meet legal, regulatory, tax, or accounting requirements. When those purposes are fulfilled, we securely destroy the information or anonymize it, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law. If personal information has been used to make a decision about you, we keep it for at least one (1) year after the decision so that you can access it.
We maintain personal-information governance policies and practices and publish information about them in clear and simple language in this Policy, including roles and responsibilities and our process for handling requests and complaints.
Access to personal information is restricted to authorized employees and service providers who need it to perform their duties and who are bound by contractual confidentiality obligations. We implement physical, organizational, and technological safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information to protect against loss, theft, and unauthorized access, disclosure, copying, use, or modification.
10. International Data Transfers
Your personal information may be communicated outside Québec and Canada (including to the United States). Before any such communication, Lodavo conducts a privacy impact assessment as required by section 17 of Québec’s Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector and enters into written agreements with recipients to ensure a level of protection comparable to that applicable in Québec. Personal information communicated outside Québec may be subject to the laws (including lawful access by authorities) of the foreign jurisdiction. Lodavo remains accountable for personal information handled by its service providers and uses contractual or other means to ensure comparable protection while it is processed on our behalf.
11. Age and Eligibility
Lodavo is intended for individuals aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.
12. How to Access, Correct, Delete or Challenge Your Personal Information (including Data Portability)
You have the right to access your personal information and to request its correction or deletion, where appropriate. You also have a right to data portability of computerized personal information collected from you: upon request, we will provide such information in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable technological format and, where technically feasible, we will transmit it directly to a third party you designate who is legally entitled to receive it. Certain exceptions apply (e.g., created or inferred information, or information obtained from third parties). 13. Cookie Policy
A cookie is a small file, stored on a user's hard drive by a website. Its purpose is to collect data relating to the user's browsing habits. We use the following types of cookies on our Site:
